今回 は　島根 県しまねけんの　一番の 見どころ である　出雲大社いずもおおやしろ について　紹介 します。

About Izumo Ooyashiro(Izumo Taisha)

出雲大社は　日本で　最 も古く、　重要な 神社 のひとつで、　

現在 の　建物 は　1744年に　建て られたものです。

この 神社 に 祀 られている 神様 は　大国主大神おおくにぬしおおかみといいます。

この大国主大神おおくにぬしおおかみが　日本を作った　 と言われて いて、

「 縁結えんむすび の神様」 として　祀 られています。

今も　たくさんの 参拝者 が　神社 を訪れ ます。　

出雲大社には　他の 神社と 違う ルール があります。

一般的 に　神社 では　参拝 する とき、　賽銭箱 の 前 で「二 礼 二 拍手 一 礼 」をします。

しかし 、　出雲大社では　「二 礼 四 拍手 一 礼 」をします。

その 理由 は　神様 を　讃える ため です。　出雲大社は　日本の 神様 にとって も

非常 に　神聖な 場所 である ため、　いつも より　拍手 をするのです。

Izumo Ooyashiro is one of the oldest and most important shrine and the current building is the one built in 1744. The god enshrined in this shrine is called “Ookuninushiookami”. It is said that this god created Japan and is enshrined as “a god of matchmaking”. A lot of worshippers visit the shrine even now. When we visit shrines in general, we do two bows, two claps and one bow in front of offering boxes. However, we do two bows, four claps and one bow at the Izumo Ooyashiro. The reason is to honor a god. The Izumo Ooyashiro is quite sacred place even for gods in Japan so we claps more than always.

出雲大社いずもおおやしろの 境内 には　たくさんの うさぎ の 像 が　あります。

これは　日本の 神話 の　「古事記」の 中 で　うさぎが　登場 する から です。

怪我 に 苦しむ うさぎを　大国主大神おおくにぬしおおかみは 助ける　という　場面 が　話の 中 に

あります。　その ため、　うさぎは　「 慈愛 の 神様 」 として　祀 られています。

In the precinct of Izumo Ooyashiro, there are a lot of statues of rabbit. This is because a rabbit appears in the “Kojiki” which is the myth of Japan. There is the scene that Ookuninushiookami helps a rabbit that suffers from injury in the myth. Because of that, a rabbit is enshrined as “a god of benevolence”.

しめ縄について

About shimenawa

出雲大社いずもおおやしろの神楽殿かぐらでんには　有名 な　日本で 最 大 の　しめ縄 があります。

この大注連縄おおしめなわ　という　しめ縄 の　長 さは 約 13 メートル 、　重 さ は約 5.2 トン も

あり、　数年 に 一度、　新しいものに　替え られます。

このしめ縄の 迫力 は　本当に　すさまじい ので、　ぜひ みなさんも

訪れ てみてください。

In the Kaguraden of the Izumo Ooyashiro, there is the well-known biggest shimenawa in Japan. The length of the shimenawa called “Ooshimenawa” is approximately 13 meters and the weight is approximately 5.2 tons and it is renewed once a few years. The impact of this shimenawa is really tremendous so please try to visit there.
