[G]まえ（に）　before

This is often accompanied with に particle. When it’s the topic of sentences, は also comes after it.

例　家いえを出でる前まえに、　電気でんきを消けしてね。

　　Please turn off the lights before leaving home.

　　テストの前まえは　緊張きんちょうします。

　　I’m nervous before tests.
